Switches

Fields View (switch) - Shows/hides the Field View area (see below).
Show Lookup Fields (switch) - Shows the Lookup Fields window (see below).
Extended Search Mode (switch) - If extended mode is off, EZGenerator looks if all field values (for fields selected in Lookup Fields window) match with an existing record. If such a record exists, it is automatically highlighted after you paste the source data. If extended mode is on, EZGenerator will search if any of the field values (for fields selected in Lookup Fields window) match the existing record and display a report for all records in the Matching Fields View (see below).

Fields View

This view displays all parsed fields from the input text. Fields types that do not exist in the current Contacts database are ignored.

The Fields View also contains the following controls:

Update Record (flat button) - Updates/overwrites the record selected in the Contacts database with the values from the parsed text.
Save New Record (flat button) - Saves the values from the parsed text as a new contact record in the Contacts database.
Discard Data (flat button) - Discards the parsed data.

NOTE: Press the Fields View Switch button to hide/show this view.

Lookup Fields

The Lookup Fields windows allows you to set which fields are tracked for matching values between the parsed text and existing contact records. The window shows a list with all available field types in the Contacts database.

Place a checkmark in front of each field you want to be tracked and finally press the save button at the right bottom of the window.

NOTE: Press the Lookup Field Switch button to open this window.

Matching Fields View

This view displays a report for all records that have one or more fields that match the parsed text. You can see the record number in the first column and the number of matching fields in the second one. The record you select in this view is updated if you press the Update Record button.
