PROJECT SETTINGS
Online Administration
Use this tab to set your administrator account - username and password. With this account you will access Online Administration panel. Online administration is used with PHP based pages that provide interactive
editing and content development online. For example adding items to a web-shop and setting prices. Log into your 'Online Administration' page and access editable items.
- Username (edit box) - Set a username.
- Password (edit box) - Set a password.
- Nickname / Author (edit box) - Set a nickname. Your nickname is used as 'posted by nickname' in all scripts where administrator submits posts (Calendar, Blog, etc).
- Enable Self-Registration (check box) - Enables self-registration in your site. For more info on the topic, see: How to set Self-Registration.
- Registration Fields (button) - Add/remove fields in the self-registration form (supported in a MySQL project only), if you want to collect more data about your users.
- Enable Protection Areas (check box) - Enables protected areas - a feature that helps you group protected pages (requiring password access). For more info on the topic, see: Page Protection.
- Hide Protected Pages from menu if not logged (check box) - If checked, protected pages will be hidden in menu until user logs in. This feature is not available in all templates. For more info on protection,
see: Page Protection.
- Press Go To Online Site Administration button to launch the Online Administrator panel.
