Index page

This tab contains settings related to website's index page:

Index Page (affect your site only when index page is disabled)

• Index Replace (radio button) - Home page will be copied on Index page..
• Index Redirect (radio button) - Index page will redirect users to home page.
• Remove Index Body (checkbox) - When enabled, body of your index page will be removed.
• URL masking (radio button) - Sets URL masking for your site (no frames mode). URL masking means hiding of the actual url that is shown in the browser address bar. When visitor browses your site he will always see only the domain name. Example: if a visitor goes to page http://www.mysite.com/documents/23.html, he will see http://www.mysite.com/ in the browser address bar instead.
• Use my own Index page from site structure (radio button) - If you want to use self-defined index page instead of the default one, check this box (no frames mode). You can create yout self-defined index page in EZGenerator by saving normal page in root and renaming it to index.html (.htm or .php).

Index Page Name

In case your server doesn't support index.html as index page name, you can rename the index file name here.

Dummy Index.html

If you check Include dummy (index .html) page in each directory, EZGenerator will include dummy index.html page in each directory to prevent users from browsing your site directories. It is recommended for better security in case your server allows browsing of directories.
