Options

The Options window, contains options that affect overall EZGenerator program operation.

• Check if connected to internet on upload/download (check box) - Checks if your computer is connected to internet before any action that requires internet access, such as template download or project upload. If connected, EZGenerator will use the connection if not, EZGenerator will try to connect via dial-up.
• Select Project on Start (check box) - Display the 'Select Project' window on application start-up.
• Enable Object Hints (check box) - Display object hints while in EDIT mode.
• Enable Template (Page Level) Editor (check box) - Enables the option to edit the template at the page level (available only for editable templates). As a result, in EDIT mode you will see small HTML icon next to EDIT/BROWSE modes at the bottom right.
• Auto-Update (check box) - EZGenerator will auto-update when you start the application.
• Template Browser Fix (check box) - Enables a template browser fix (needed only for users that are having problems with the Web Templates dialog).
• Display Optimization Dialog on Upload (check box) - This option will display a dialog (on Upload) with list of files that are not used and that will be deleted, asking you to confirm if you want to delete them. If you don't want to delete some of them, you can uncheck them from the list.
• Disable Windows Offline Preview Lockdown (button) - If you have Windows Service Pack2 installed on your computer, press the button to disable offline preview lockdown.
• Enable Javascript (button) - Will enable javascript in the browser used inside EZGenerator (by default this is Internet Explorer).
• Disable Internet Explorer Script Debugging (button) - If Internet Explorer shows a debugging error when testing your site offline, press the button to disable the Script Debugging.
• Browser Mode (drop-down menu) - Sets which Internet Explorer version to be used inside EZGenerator. Select IE9 to make CSS3 features work inside EZGenerator.
• Default Backup Folder (edit box) - Sets default backup folder for all new projects. If you leave it empty, default backup folder will be used (ezgenerator/backup/). If you want to apply the change to all projects, press Apply to all projects button.
