Background Generator

Background Generator dialog can be accessed from any dialog with background settings - Table Properties, Template background or Page Background, allowing you to design your own custom background, using few predefined patterns.

Presets

Use this combo box to select Preset (predefined template) for your background. You can also save your settings as new template (using the Save As Preset window) and use it later.

Pattern

• Pattern (combo box) - Select a pattern to use as a background.
• Tile Size (buttons) - Use the (+) and (-) buttons to change the size of the pattern image. You can also press the button that shows current image size and directly chage its height and width.
• Repeat Tile (combo box) - Use this combo to force repeating of the pattern image.
• Repeat Amount (number spin box) - If you have forced Repeat Tile, set here number of times pattern should be repeated.

Overlay

In this section you can apply overlay effect to the background pattern.

Overlay Color

Check the radio button and use the color picker to set overlay color.

Overlay Gradient

Check this radio button if you want to apply gradient effect .

• Start/Mid/End Color (color picker and preview) - Set preferable colors for this effect using the three color pickers. Gradient requires minimum two colors to be set.
• Gradient Direction (combo box) - You set here gradient effect orientation - Left2Right (from left to right) or Top2Bottom (from top to bottom).
