WEB EDITOR
Working with: Flash Objects
EZGenerator allows you to embed Macromedia Flash objects (*.swf) in your
web pages. All the required HTML code is automatically generated by EZGenerator
when you export the site.
To insert a Flash object:
- Position the text marker where you want to insert the Flash object.
- Right-click and select span class="term">Insert Flash
Object from the menu.
- Select a Flash movie file (*.swf) from the open file dialog.
Note, that the Flash contents are not directly previewed in the Web
Editor. Instead, you will see this graphic (matching the
size of the Flash object):
Publish the site or create an offline preview of the page to see the actual
Flash contents.
Flash Properties
Once the object is inserted, you can double-click the preview image to access
its properties window. The following properties are available:
- Src (text
box) - Displays the Flash object source file name (read only field).
- Quality (combo
box) - Sets the Flash rendering quality (anti-aliasing level). The
available values are high (default), medium, low and best.
- Wmode (transparency) (check
box) - Toggles the Flash Transparent property on and off.(this will only work with flash objects with Transparent support enabled).
- Width (number
box) - The width of the object. If % (percent)
is selected from the combo box, the width is accepted as a percentage value (relative to the
web page width), otherwise the value is accepted as width
in pixels.
- Height (number
box) - The height of the object. If % (percent)
is selected in the combo box, the height is accepted as a percentage value (relative to the
web page height), otherwise the value is accepted as height
in pixels.
- Scale (number
box) - Works together with the dimension settings to determine how a Flash player movie will be displayed in a browser. You can choose between default, noborder and exactfit.
- Allow Full Screen (check
box) - If checked, will allow Full Screen mode for the flash object.
- Parameters (text
box) - The Flash objects can accept a set of custom parameters
in the form of a query string. The actual parameters will differ for each
individual
animation (or they might not be supported at all). Consult with the Flash
object vendor if you need to enter parameters in this box, otherwise leave
it empty.
- Loop (check
box) - Toggles the Flash Loop property on and off (this will only work with flash objects with loop support enabled).
- Autoplay (check
box) - Toggles the Flash Autoplay property on and off (this will only work with flash objects with loop support enabled). For EZGenerator Flash Gallery, this option will force autostart of slidehsow.
