Image Properties
You can adjust the properties of existing images at any time.
To open the properties window, double-click an image, or select an image,
right-click and from the menu that appears, select Image
Properties.
Image
- Replace Image (button) - Opens Insert Pictures Dialog if you need to replace the image with new one.
- Restore Size (button) - If pressed, will restore the image size, if it has been changed in EZGenerator Edit mode. Note, that when you change image size in Edit mode, it will only change its html size attributes, and not the actual image size.
- Size Lock (check box) - If checked, will lock image resizing in Edit mode for selected image.
- Alignment (combo
box) - Sets the vertical alignment of the text relative to the image. Left and Right
allows the text to wrap around the image. Top, Middle
and Bottom align the text respectively with the top, middle and bottom of the image. Baseline sets the text baseline at the bottom of the image. TextTop,
Absmiddle and Absbotom are similar to Top, Middle and Bottom, but are not supported by all browsers. Center is similar to Middle, but is not supported by all browsers. The Default alignment is Baseline.
- Horizontal Spacing / Vertical Spacing
(number spin box) - Allows you to set a
margin between the image and the content that surrounds it. These
properties can not be previewed inside the Web
Editor (you can see the results when site is uploaded or through the
offline preview of the page).
- Border (number spin
box) - Sets the image border width.
- Border Style (combo
box) - Sets the image border style.
- Border Color (button and edit box) - Allows you to set image border color.
- MAP (button) - Allows you to set the image as map image. EXPERTS
ONLY!
- Source (text
box) - This text box shows the image source URL (picture file location).
It can not be modified manually (for your information only).
- Name (text
box) - Sets the image name inside HTML. EXPERTS
ONLY!
- Id (text
box) - Sets the image id - unique string name for the image, which is used in scripting. EXPERTS
ONLY!
- Title (text
box) - Sets the image title - the normal hint text to be displayed while the visitors hold their mouse over the image.
- Alt (text box)
- You can write here a short text alternative to your image. The text is displayed
while the image is loading and it acts like a replacement for the image in
text-only browsers.
- Effect (combo
box) - This feature allows you to apply a set of special effects
to your images. Make Image Draggable allows
the user to drag the image in the page (the effect is available only
for IE browsers); Blend
Image creates
a fade in / fade out effect when the visitor moves his cursor over the
image;
Rollover Image allows you to select an alternative
image that is displayed when the visitor moves his cursor over the image
(i.e. the popular rollover
image
effect); Alert allows you to display an alert box
with a custom text message when the visitor clicks the image; Blend Hover adds blend hover effect on image that is set as url - when user move mouse over this image, the image will blend in with the page background; EXPERTS
ONLY! Custom Effects displays the EVENTS
buttons. Click an EVENTS button to enter custom script and HTML properties.
This is an experts only feature. If you are a novice user, it is highly recommended
not to use Custom Effects, as it may cause your
web page to display improperly.
URL
This section allows you to set up the image to act like a hyperlink.
- Link Type (combo
box) - Sets the link type. Internal Page
displays the current site structure, bookmarks included. Double-click a page to link to it.
For available link types check hyperlink section.
- URL (text
box)
- Contains the actual link URL (address).
- Target (combo
box) - This parameter sets the target frame of the page. The default
option (if blank) opens the page in its designated frame inside the site.
Whole Page results in the page replacing the navigation menu and other
frames in the site, so only the page alone is visible in the browser (this
setting is suitable when linking to an external site). New
Window opens the page in a new browser window. POPUP
allows you to create a customizable popup window, for more information, see
Popup Properties.
Same Frame
opens the page in its designated frame inside the site. Slide
Container is used with picture slideshows.
- Hint (button) -
This feature allows you to display a floating hint box while the visitors
hold their mouse over the image. For more information, see Hint
Box.
- Events (button) -
This feature allows you to insert custom scripts and HTML properties.
This is an experts only feature.
- Title (text
box) - Sets the link title - the normal hint text to be displayed while the visitors hold their mouse over the link. This hint will be enabled only if you haven't set hint box (see above).
