WEB EDITOR SPECIAL PAGES INDEX

Overview

Index page is the page that opens first when user visits your site. It usually contains the company logo, a short text description of the site, and a list of available language versions (if more than one). Index page is saved in the root of your site structure.

Using the special Languages object (see below) EZGenerator generates a list of available language versions for your site. The user can select a language version to open the corresponding Homepage.

You do not create or delete an Index page. This page always exists in the site structure root. Each site has only one Index page.

If you have a single language version for your site, however, you may want to avoid the user to see the index page. To disable the index page, simply go to Explorer Panel, right-click the index page and select Disable/Enable index page from the Context menu.
