Overview
The Login Page is a specially designed page type that allows you protect some of your pages with username and password. To better understand EZGenerator concept on page protection, check Page Protection & Central Admin first.
Basics
The Login page is a web form containing only two fields - username and password. When users visit a page that is password protected, they are directed to the Login page first and prompted to fill in the correct username&password to receive access to the protected page.
You may use one Login page to protect multiple pages, or separate Login page for each protected page. Each login page is something like section that you use to group your protected pages.
You can make your Login page invisible, and when users try to access the protected page, the Login page will be opened automatically.
After you create Login page and protect certain pages with it, you need to create user accounts with access to the already protected pages.
