Cell Properties
Each table cell has its own properties: width, height, background color etc.
This section describes the available options and how to access them.
To open the cell properties window:
- Select the cells you want to edit (for a single
cell it is enough to position the text marker inside it).
- Right-click and from the menu that appears, select Cell
Properties.
- In the Cell Properties window (see below), set the required properties
and press OK.

The following options are available for each table cell:
Layout section:
Width
Specifies the cell width.
- Specify Width (check
box) - If checked, you can specify a custom width for the cell,
otherwise a default width is used (depending on the table width, structure
and contents).
- Width (number
spin box) - Type here the cell width you want to use.
- In Pixels/In Percent (radio
group) - If In Percent is selected, the Width
value is treated as a percent of the table width, otherwise an absolute width
in pixels is used.
Height
Specifies the cell height.
- Specify Height (check
box) - If checked, you can specify a custom height for the cell,
otherwise a default height is used (depending on the table height, structure
and contents).
- Height (number spin box)
- Type here the cell height you want to use.
- In Pixels/In Percent (radio
group) - If In Percent is selected,
the Height value is treated as a percent of the
table height, otherwise an absolute height in pixels is used.
Vertical Alignment (combo box)
This option specifies the vertical alignment of the cell contents (images,
text etc.). The available choices are: Default (normally
rendered as Top), Top, Middle
and Bottom.
Background section:
Background (text box and button)
The text box contains the address of an image file that will be used as a
cell background (click the button to browse for an image). Leave the box
empty to use the specified color instead.
Color (button & preview box)
This option specifies the background color for the cell. When used, this setting
overrides the table
background property. To use a default color for the cell click the 'none'-button.
