Splitting and Merging Cells
Cell merging allows a cell to span more than one column and/or row in a table.
You can also "subdivide" a cell into any number of rows and columns
with the cell splitting functions in EZGenerator.
To merge several cells:
- Select the cells you want to merge.
- Right-click and from the menu that appears, select Table
Merge Cells.
- The cells and their contents are merged into a new cell.
To merge several cells in selected rows:
- Select few rows whose cells you want to merge.
- Right-click and from the menu that appears, select Table
Merge Cells in Selected Rows.
- The cells and their contents are merged into new cells, which number is equal to the number of rows selected.
To split one or more cells into several rows:
- Select the cells you want to split (to split a single cell it is enough
to position the text marker inside it).
- Right-click and from the menu that appears, select Table
Split
into Rows.
- In the dialog that appears select the numbers of rows you want to be created
for each cell and press OK.
- The selected cells are split into several rows and their existing content
is moved to the bottom most row.
To split one or more cells into several columns:

to position the text marker inside it).
